Over the past 10 years, FLEx has pushed the limits in pursuit of the world’s thinnest LED lighting system.
Founded in 2004 in Chicago, USA, FLEx was created as the Film Lighting Experts. The initial technology was built by converting xenon light bulbs, fiber optics and plastic film into a much more compact system of LEDs and optical film.
FLEx Lighting is a breakthrough light transmission company revolutionizing the display industry. FLEx-enabled displays give electronic gadgets up to 10x the battery savings and a way to be seen in direct sunlight without glare on the screen.
FLEx's Front Light works in combination with industry-leading Reflective LCDs to offer the same high resolution and video capabilities of traditional LCDs but at a fraction of the power consumed. With a range of 1"-17" in size, FLEx displays can easily integrate into your device.
Years of lightguide research and product developments since have helped FLEx become the market leader in illuminated films in electronics and signage.
FLEx’s management and technical team brings decades of experience in product development, specialty optics design, and high growth enterprises. We continue to expand our team by adding only the highest quality people.
